Fire-Heated Branding Iron
Made of 3/16" stainless steel that is 1"high. Designed to withstand
the extreme temperature changes between the propane heater and the
liquid nitrogen used in freeze branding. Handle is approximately 34
inches long.

Characters can be anywhere from 2 inches to 6 inches in height. Your
state brand board--or board of stock inspection--may stipulate how
large the brand should be. Usually, smaller for calves, larger for
mature animals. Unless specified, we will make your iron with a face
approximately 5 inches in diameter, usable in most states for both
older calves and mature cows and bulls.
All of our branding irons are "vented", meaning that
they are made with a small gap at intersection points. This is done to
prevent blotching and one reason why our irons are known to product
good, clean brands.
